Technicians: We have just had to pay over $200.00 for an internet technician to come into office 215, the tech office because of internet issues....The issue ended up being that someone had come into that office and plugged a computer line into the work group switch that shut down services in the entire building. Also, a computer virus will interrupt service to other tenants in the office. Please do not go to any unknown web sites, open any unkown mail or plug any devices into the systems. In fact, it would be greatly appreciated if techs were not to use the computers in office 215 at all.   Tebo

To all Techs:

1.  Please be aware that Percy, during the day (m-f) and Gesielle, during the night (m-f) are available to ride with you as a second man in the event that your scheduled partner has had to cancel or did not show for the shift. Our ultimate goal is to have at least 1 two man unit up on all shifts.

2. Also, for those that need to accrue hours before the years end you may sign up to ride with 6513 if 6512 is full for the shift you would like. In that case, that shift will have 2 two man units operating.

Please feel free to contact me if further information is needed,

Tebo

Interoffice correspondence from Sgt. Glaudi to all Technicians:

Effective 11-2-08, the Crisis Unit has been transferred from SOD to the NOPD Reserve Division. Our Captain will now be Capt. April Overman, Commander of the Reserve division. No major operating changes are anticipated at this time.

However, we will be using collar bras with HQ. Some of you may have these from the past, if so please start using now. For those that don't, they can be purchased at any of the uniform supply shops.
